Summer is here and so are the fun events! Join us on July 14, 2024 for our CAT Run in Blandford, MA. Entries close on July 3, 2024. We will allow Day Of entries as space allows but it’s not a definite. Premium list is on our Fast CAT tab.

There is plenty of time to plan for our next Fast CAT event which is to be held on September 7 and September 8 in Clinton, Maine. Premium list is also listed on our Fast CAT/CAT tab, as well as on the AKC site and Infodog site. You can always reach out to Joni or Beth and be added to our email list for an advance copy and listing of our events.

Our last event of the year will be our CAT event in November in Webster, NH. More to come as we prepare that premium list. We’re a little preoccupied with our July event.

Speaking of events, we have quite a few plans for the summer and fall! Here are a few upcoming events that all are welcome:

The 18th Annual Maine Celtic Festival will be held in Belfast, Maine on July 19 through July 21 at The Boathouse. Loads of fun to experience and the Irish Wolfhounds are a sure hit at their Irish Dog Parade! You can then join IWANE on July 27 and July 28 at the Maine Renaissance Faire in Acton, Maine. This medieval event allows us to show people why our beloved wolfhounds were coveted by the aristocracy and a symbol of strength and loyalty. This is a great opportunity to socialize with hounds and humans, and learn a thing or two about our regal breed.

On October 5 we will be congregating up at Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Vermont for their Fall Dog Party. Another great opportunity for people to meet our hounds and get to know other members of IWANE.

Our 2025 IWANE Calendars are back!!

We have some beautiful new portraits to adorn each month by the talents of Sue Gilson. If you did not get a chance to pick up your calendar at the specialty – Fret Not! We are taking orders through autumn or until they are all sold. You can reach out to Sue or Joni through FB Messenger or email. Join our FB group and text us!

Calendars are $25.00 each plus a $5.00 shipping charge. All proceeds go to the Irish Wolfhound Association of New England. You can pay via the PayPal link below. It’s quite easy!
